It was about eighteen years ago when a Mother wept with emotion in front of me for the first time and her struggle to control herself seemed more than her own tears!At the time I could not understand what had moved her in my words but I could tell that she thanked me for it.
To be honest, even now I may not be looking so much for the reason of the countless tears from moms and dads, which are now almost a daily occurrence when we are in contact, but to remember what I said to Vangelis, to me, then and now:
Even just one mother,
just one father that I could change,
to be able to relieve,
to be able to help
and make him see his autistic child with clear eyes, as autism really is...
I will feel good that I have protected a child, a family from all the rot that dominates our society in everything that is different and therefore tends to suffer UNFORTUNATELY!
Once again I will say what I always say!
The Autistic suffers from the rejection of society and NOT from his autism!
AUTISTIC IS NOT SICK!
