I'm worried...
Why schools as the years go by tend to specialize in neurotypical children.
I'm worried...
because we are killing diversity more and more brutally.
I'm worried...
that we don't know how we'll be destroyed without the student who doesn't fit in.
I'm worried...
because we are not nurturing our children's imagination.
I'm worried...
Isn't the fat, the dumb, the dumb, the retarded, the ugly, the ugly, the dirty, the lonely, the crippled, the brick, the plant...
believe in these words.
I also worry about the nerds who get bullied in case they suffer for life.
I'm worried...
that our little heroes won't get what they deserve, the place they deserve in the world.
I'm worried...
that we might bury our greatest minds.
I'm worried about the student who always sits alone at the last desk
and the one who hides at recess behind large columns.
I'm worried...
that a young inventor might not dare to make his invention.
I hope...
To a better future for our children!
I hope...
To a school that knows how to light sparks to make fires in children's minds.
I hope for parents who teach acceptance and respect to their children.
I hope for teachers who will be inspirational and paint smiles.
I hope...
In classmates who will share food, pencil, pencil sharpener, love.
I hope for clothes and bags that are neither expensive nor cheap,
nor old nor new,
beautiful,
I hope...
I hope for a magical school year full of
inspiration,
surprise,
love.
Happy school year to our children and to the children of the world!
Happy school year to our children and to the children of the world!
And a desperate appeal to parents:
Now that you've taught your child to put the books one by one in his sack
Teach him to put both his language and his actions into his mind with reverence and empathy before every action.
OUR WORLD.
HAVE.
NEED.
THE AUTISTIC MIND.
With love for a peaceful and constructive school year full of beautiful experiences!
