For the first time in Greece, professional specialization by a certified trainer of the method from the Irlen Institute International HQ USA (Irlen Institute International HQ USA, Long Beach, California) with manuals, educational material, all tests adapted to the Greek data, as well as clinical case studies from Greece.
IRLEN TRAINING
It is a fact that 80% of the information we receive from the environment is visual information. This means that 80 % of the information passes through our eyes. But what happens when a visual processing problem affects the correct recording of information in the brain? Then we are talking about Irlen syndrome.
The syndrome affects 12-14% of the general population, over 50% of people with learning disabilities according to a comprehensive global survey. In addition, 1/3 of children diagnosed with dyslexia or learning difficulties have such a severe form of the syndrome that only remediation is enough to compensate for their problems with strategies and they are no longer considered dyslexic or with another disorder. Therefore, it is not uncommon for children to be misdiagnosed as having a learning problem.
The Irlen method is directly applicable and gives new insights:
- Early diagnosis of the child's visual perceptual problems. From the age of four we can identify the problems and intervene effectively by providing a solution.
- In problems of learning, reading, text comprehension (reading and rereading the text), attention concentration, hyperactivity.
- In unexplained headaches - migraines, stomach aches, chronic fatigue syndrome that the problem is focused on photosensitivity, giving immediate and definitive treatment.

The seminars are addressed to : teachers of all levels and specialties, special educators, psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and optometrists.

TITLES OF STUDY
At the end of the seminars, 3 (three) certificates of competence will be awarded, from the International Irlen Institute of America (IRLEN INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL HQ ASSOCIATED BY USA) in collaboration with the Director of the Irlen Clinic in Greece.
The renewal of titles is carried out in several ways which are explained during the training.
1.INFANT DETECTOR AND EARLY CHILDHOOD(Early Childhood Screening)
2.SUBSCRIPTION DETECTOR (Preliminary ASSessment)
Introduction to learning disorders and their relation to IRLEN syndrome. Detection of the syndrome in children and adults. Where and how the syndrome affects all skills of the individual. Two-day training.
Participation fee - late registration
1th and 2th Level includes: Detailed notes, training certificate, test manuals complete and adapted to Greek data, free registration on the website IRREN in Greece for one year, coffee, refreshments, lunch, evaluation sheets, continuous counseling and support with the future professional activity of the participants.
3.CERTIFIED IRLEN DETECTOR (IRPS)
Two-day training in diagnostic and rehabilitation testing for children and adults. This two-day course teaches all the necessary theoretical knowledge about the syndrome as well as the study of specific conditions (e.g. autism, etc.), techniques for spreading the method and manipulations (e.g. writing professional reports). Now the participants are able to give solutions regarding the treatment of the syndrome as well as to be professionally involved in the rehabilitation of the syndrome.

NOTE: The rehabilitation material is sold in the cases you take on after the training.
The number of participants is strictly limited (up to 10 people).
The languages of the seminars are English - Greek with capital language is Greek. You have the right to choose successive translations.
FREE Review Day - Examination: 1 MONTH AFTER via SKYPE.
Seat reservations will be made only upon receipt of a deposit corresponding to the cost of the materials, no later than 25 September 2019.
After this date, those interested should contact the secretariat of the Irlen Institute of Greece.
It is possible to repeat the seminars for participants who have attended before with a 50% discount if they deem it necessary.
